Wigan & Leigh Hospice provides support for people living with a life threatening illness. At any one time there are around 250 patients accessing the service. Support is also extended to their relatives and carers.
There are around 800 new referrals to the Hospice each year. Activity statistics for the year 2008 are as follows: -
