in-patient care

hospice bed

The Hospice has twelve in-patient beds for specialist palliative care which consist of eight single rooms and a four bedded bay. The inpatient unit is modern, bright, peaceful and welcoming with each patient having views onto the beautiful gardens.

Patients admitted to the Hospice are cared for by a multi-disciplinary team of health professionals and volunteers under the overall supervision of a Palliative Care Consultant.

Patients are admitted to the Hospice for a short period of time if they have pain or symptom issues or for care at the end of life. All Hospice patients are treated with dignity and are offered a high standard of individualised care.

Visitors are welcome at any time.
