The Hospice provides the following services that fall outside normal business hours:
- Telephone Advice Line
- Community Palliative Care Nurse Specialist Services (P.C.N.S.)
- Admissions to the In-patient unit
The Advice line is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to patients, carers and healthcare professionals who are seeking advice about palliative care issues.
A member of the PCNS team is available between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm on Saturdays, Sundays and on Public Holidays to carry out reviews and provide advice as required.
Appropriate admissions to the In-patient unit can be facilitated depending on the availability of beds.
