MEN'S GOLF DAY
Houghwood Golf Club was the venue for this year’s Wigan & Leigh Hospice Men’s Golf Day when 18 teams took part on a blustery, but fine day on this magnificent course with extensive views across the Lancashire countryside..
The ‘shotgun’ start was the first time this type of format was used on the Hospice Golf Day and it was well received.
The course was in excellent order and the post-event meal and prize-giving created a good atmosphere.
We would like to thank everyone who took part and supported in any way.Events of this nature are not only enjoyable and create excellent networking opportunities, but are also important in raising essential funds to continue the specialist Hospice care that local people need.
