Three Sisters Karting Events

KARTING EVENT AT THREE SISTERS RACING CIRCUIT IN WIGAN

KARTING DAY 16th August 2011 - Special thanks must go to the Three Sisters Circuit for their kind support and to the teams who each contributed to make it a good day.

The event began with registration and essential safety briefing. After kitting out and entering the pit lane, the first drivers took their seats in the 70mph superkarts. The following practice session gave everyone the opportunity to get familiar with their kart before the flag was waved to start the 2 hour Enduro race.

The winner would be the team to complete the most laps in the time allowed.

It soon became apparent that this was going to be a fun-filled day, with both novice and the more experienced vying for position. The winding, almost 1 mile circuit, brought out the competetive spirit in the drivers, with positions changing constantly.

The comptuerised lap recording system ensured that eager eyes were able to keep updated with the good (or bad) news - until the chequered flag. It was then revealed that the race winners were Ashcroft Bookmakers.
