Target audience: healthcare assistants and practitioners who may be new to palliative care.
The aim of the day is to raise awareness of the needs of palliative care patients and discuss strategies to meet these needs.
- Explore the concept of palliative care
- Using case studies and group work, explore the needs of the palliative patient and their family
- Identify our role in providing holistic care
