Am I old/young/experienced enough
Whatever your age or experience, you can be sure there is some aspect of volunteering that will suit you.
for example...
YOUNG PEOPLE
There are many diverse volunteer opportunities for those looking for work experience before embarking on a career, and this experience is normally of a ‘hands on’ nature.
WORKING
There are opportunities to support the Hospice in a variety of ways at evenings and weekends.
UNEMPLOYED
Make valuable use of your spare time by volunteering. Many employers are impressed by those who give some of their time and talents to support others in the Community. Learn new skills that can help in your quest for employment.
RETIRED
During your working life, you will no doubt have gained many life-skills. Perhaps you sometimes feel that a lot of your hard-earned experience is not now valued or used.
You can help as much or as little as you like. There are no rigid committments. The time you give time is totally governed by you.
