Wigan and Leigh Hospice
Welcome to the Wigan and Leigh Hospice website
Wigan and Leigh Hospice aims to improve the quality of life of local people living with life-threatening illnesses, whilst supporting their families and carers. Patients are involved in their personal plan of care, which is tailored to meet their needs.
The Hospice is an independent charity with care being provided free of charge to over 500 local people each year. We rely on the generosity of people within the local community and beyond who have supported the Hospice over the past 25 years.
Since the Hospice first opened in 1983 many thousands of local people and their families have benefitted from Hospice care. The Hospice relocated to modern purpose built premises in Hindley in 1997.
