The available role
As a Cook you will be responsible for providing a high-quality, cost-effective catering service to patients, visitors, staff and volunteers over a 7-day a week rota. You will also deputise for Head Cook and provide support as required.

You will have previous experience of working within a busy kitchen environment, excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritise whilst ensuring the patients’ needs are met. You will have experience of ordering and monitoring stock. NVQ Level 2 in Catering & Hospitality and Basic Food Hygiene Certificate are Essential for this role.

The shifts we cover are 08:00 – 13:00, 13:00 – 18:00, seven days a week.

This post is fixed term (6 months) to cover sickness and annual leave in the kitchen department.
