Volunteer Shop Assistant

Atherton Shop – Till Volunteers

About the role

Our charity shops are run by a team of committed volunteers who give their time and skills to raise vital funds for the hospice.

We’re looking for Volunteer Shop Assistants who are approachable and friendly, with a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

In return, you’ll be offered support and training to do the job, as well as the opportunity to be part of a brilliant team who really make a difference.

A typical day might involve sorting and pricing donated stock, assisting customers with their purchases, serving on the till, as well as ensuring the shop is well presented and welcoming to customers to help to bring in a much income as possible to support the hospice.

We are looking for volunteers who can commit to a minimum of a half day shift per week and, in order to keep our shop open, we particularly need volunteers to be trained to use the till.

How to Apply

To apply please complete the application form which can be downloaded at the bottom of this advert and return it to or pick up a form in any of our 10 shops. Completed forms can also be returned to any of our shops.
