Fundraise for Wigan & Leigh Hospice
As a local charity the Hospice relies on the support of our community across Wigan and Leigh. We need to raise around £8,700 every day towards the running of the Hospice and are very grateful to local people who have supported us for over 30 years.
Wigan and Leigh Hospice is currently running the Counting on Care appeal to create an In-patient Unit for the future and incorporate dementia-friendly principles.
Our fundraising team is here to help if you want to sign up for any of our events, want more information or need guidance on organising your own event.
Fundraising events are a vital part of our income, enabling us to continue to provide care and support services free of charge to patients, their families and carers.

The Business Support Group was established over sixteen years ago, originally to help fund the new building when the Hospice moved from its original Poolstock site to Hindley in 1997. Now with over sixty members, and with fundraising being more challenging than ever, the support of local businesses is vital in helping us continue and improve our service.
Our annual ‘Light for a Life’ appeal provides an opportunity to celebrate the life of a loved one.
We need enthusiastic, keen, active people willing to help with promoting the hospice and fundraising in your locality. This is an exciting, practical way you can help our patients and have some fun.
