Wigan and Leigh Hospice relies on the support of our community across the Borough. We are a registered charity and currently need to raise almost £10,000 every day to keep on providing all of our services.
Last year we provided hospice care to over 1,100 local people with a life-limiting illness which could not be cured. We also cared for those people close to our patients.
We are a charity and receive less than a third of our funding from the NHS. We have to raise over £3.5million every year so that we can continue delivering all of our services for those who need them.
There are a lot of different ways in which you can help the hospice from joining in one of our organised events, to fundraising, volunteering your time or remembering the hospice in your will. We appreciate it all and you'll be helping to support local people who need care and support.
Could you skip a cup of coffee every month and donate the money you'd normally spend?
What will you do? Organise a charity brunch, a walking challenge with friends and family, or dance all day?
Shop in or donate to one of our shops. We also have online shops at eBay and Depop.
Do you have a few hours to spare on a regular basis? If so please read more about volunteering with the hospice
Pledge your support to people who will need our help in the future by leaving a gift to the hospice in your will
For £1 a week you can make a regular donation to the hospice and you'll be in with a chance of winning 1 in 30 prizes.
Your donation or support will enable us to help people at a time in their lives when they need it the most.
Wigan and Leigh Hospice provides all of our services, for as long as they are needed, at no cost to those using them.
