Paying in money you have raised

Thank you for raising money to help us care for and support local people with a life-limiting illness.

You can pay monies you have raised in several ways. Usually, if you have raised money online through a site such as JustGiving, the funds will be transferred to the hospice from the site. For more information on raising money online please see our guide to raising money online.

 

Pop in and see us

(reception currently closed to visitors due to COVID-19)

You can call in at the hospice in Hindley and give your donation to the staff, whether it is cash or a cheque. Please go to the main reception at the hospice on Kildare Street, Hindley, WN2 3HZ. Our main opening hours are between 8am and 4.30pm. However, the reception desk is manned until 8pm at night.

 

By post

Please send cheques by post to: Wigan and Leigh Hospice, Kildare Street, Hindley, WN2 3HZ.

 

By telephone

You can call the fundraising team and make a card payment over the phone, or you can post cheques to the fundraising team at the hospice. The fundraising office is usually open between 8.30pm and 4.30pm Monday to Friday. Although the team are often out and about there is usually someone in the office who can help. Donations box

If you pay money in to the hospice out of hours there is a donation box in the reception to place your envelope, again please make sure all the details are clearly given. Any donations left in here will be collected the next working day by fundraising or finance staff.

Whenever you are paying in please ensure that your details are clearly written, including your address for a receipt and the details of how the money was raised.
