How to leave a gift in your Will

By leaving a gift in your Will, we can ensure that our services continue to be here for the people of Wigan and Leigh for years to come.

There are three main ways to leave a gift in your Will:

Residuary Gift

This is a share of your estate, for example 5%. You could choose to divide your estate into equal parts, gifting firstly to your family and leaving the remainder to the hospice.

Unlike a cash gift, leaving a share of your estate means that your gift won't devalue over time.

Cash (Pecuniary) Gift

A sum of money, for example £5,000. These gifts will be paid out of your estate first, and then the remainder will be divided up following instructions in your Will.

Specific Gift

A nominated object, for example a piece of artwork or an antique.
