About our Shops
The Hospice has 10 shops across the borough in addition to a stall at Bygone Times in Eccleston. Our shops accept and resell goods donated by members of the local community.
Our shops offer great bargains on quality goods, allowing you to find your next purchase all whilst helping to support the Hospice. Each purchase at one of our shops helps to fund the care and support we offer to our patients.
Please check our Shop Information below for the most up-to-date opening days and times. Please be aware that sometimes these hours will alter due to sickness or simply because we need more volunteers. It is always worth ringing ahead before making a special trip.
Our shops accept donations every day. However, it may be worth calling your local shop in advance as, once our storage bays are full, we will not be able to accept donations.
Get the locations of our individual shops and their opening times.
We currently have two eBay sites.
We are grateful for any donations of items we can sell in our shops. Find out more about the items we can and cannot accept and how to donate.
We would ask you politely not to leave donations of items outside our shops. Often these items become damaged if left outside and our volunteers are left with the job of disposing of them responsibly.
Thank you for your support and understanding.
Are you looking to donate unwanted furniture? Our furniture collection service is free and can be booked through our Retail Team Monday to Friday between 9am and 4pm.
Did you know that if you make a donation and you tell us that you pay tax in the UK, we can claim an extra 25p for every £1 you give? It won’t cost you a penny more!
Donating through the Gift Aid scheme means charities can claim Gift Aid from the Government on most donations.
All you need to do is make a Gift Aid declaration so that we can claim Gift Aid. You can do this if you download a form and post it back to us or hand it into one of our shops.
Your donations will qualify as long as they’re not more than 4 times what you have paid in tax in that tax year (6 April to 5 April).
Our shops are run and managed by our amazing team of around 400 dedicated volunteers, without who we would not be able to continue as we are. Our volunteers help to keep our costs down and means more funds go directly towards patient care.
