Your donation makes a difference

Only with your support can the hospice continue providing all of our services.

Hospices care for people at the most vulnerable time in their lives – providing dignity, comfort and compassion for people who are dying.

As you may know, hospices are currently under enormous pressure from the cost of living crisis, and Wigan and Leigh Hospice is no exception.

The hospice is experiencing a rise in food costs, in staffing costs and other price increases, including our energy costs.

No matter how small or large your donation makes a difference - thank you!

Join the Daisy Chain

By joining our Daisy Chain you become a link in a strong chain which will support the hospice for years to come.

We depend on charitable donations to keep going. It may surprise you that we receive less than a third of our costs from government and have to raise the rest.

By joining our Daisy Chain in memory of your loved one you help to ensure that the care we provide is here for many years to come. You become a member of a chain of people, families and businesses which ensure our vital service is available to people across Wigan and Leigh.

You can sign up to be a member of the Daisy Chain in return for a regular donation of any amount. By joining the Daisy Chain on our website you can dedicate a daisy in our online garden.*

If your gift is £5 per month or more a beautiful daisy will also be planted in our hospice remembrance garden. Your daisy can be personalised to feature a name on one side and a message or tribute on the other.

*Currently in development. Once you sign up to make a regular donation using the link above our team will contact you directly regarding your daisy*

The impact of your donation

For example, a donation of £50 could pay for a hospice nurse to visit a patient in their own home.
