To access hospice services, patients must be referred by a healthcare professional – such as a GP, a district nurse, a hospital specialist, or another community-based clinician.
All referrals are made through a of single point of access: WHISPAR (Wigan Healthier Partnership Integrated Specialist Palliative Care Active Response).
