Every day, Wigan & Leigh Hospice provides expert palliative and end-of-life care to local people living with life-limiting illnesses, helping them to live well for as long as possible and make the most of precious time with the people they love.
Like hospices across the UK, we are facing increasing financial pressures. While hospice care is an essential part of our health and care system, NHS funding covers only a proportion of the true cost of delivering our services.
It is only thanks to the generosity of our supporters – through donations, fundraising, playing our lottery and shopping in our charity shops – that we can continue to provide outstanding care for people across our borough.
