Course overview:
- Define Huntington’s disease and how it is inherited.
- Recognise symptom development and the disease progression.
- Appreciate the emotional impact for both patient and family.
- Understand the importance of implementing a palliative-care approach.
- Discuss how to provide best supportive care at end of life.
This is face-to-face training at the hospice. Advance booking is essential.
