Snowdon Sunrise Trek
Grab your walking boots and take on this epic challenge
Join us as we trek through the night to reach the summit of Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) at sunrise on Saturday 11 July 2026.

Fundraising
We ask that those supporters wishing to take part hit our target of £200.
To secure your place, you must have registered by Friday 12 June and have raised at least £100 by that date.
If you have not hit this initial target, you will be unable to take part.
We can supply collection tins, buckets, sponsorship forms and more to help with your fundraising!
The hike
The coach will be leaving the hospice at 10:30pm to get to Llanberis for 00:30am, for a 1am start.
After a safety briefing, we will set off with the aim to hit the summit for sunrise at 5am.
We’ll then start our descent to reach Llanberis before we return to the hospice.
We are working with a team of Mountain Guides who will ensure the safety of our trekkers.
Important information
- There is no minimum age limit but everyone taking part must be aware that this is a challenging trek.
- Anyone under 18 must walk with a parent or guardian.
- We ask that everyone taking part raises a minimum of £200 in sponsorship.
- Teams are welcome to take part – sponsorship can be collected as a group.
- All participants will be given a Wigan & Leigh Hospice t-shirt.
