Daytime

  • Setting up events and activities around the local community to help generate income for the Hospice and raise awareness.
  • Distribute, record and collect donation boxes within the community.
  • Attend cheque presentations and events where a hospice presence is needed.
  • Attend school assemblies and deliver presentations about the work that the Hospice does, if happy and comfortable to do so.
  • Assist in any other community events and tasks as needed.

Volunteers will be expected to independently travel to the locations they have agreed to report to, mileage can be claimed. If using your own vehicle there will be driver and vehicle checks to be completed too.

Hospice T Shirts will be provided.

All staff and volunteers are expected to demonstrate the hospice values; Compassion, Accessibility, Respect, Excellence. If you feel you could add value to our team we would like to hear from you.
