We are honoured to announce that we have been chosen as Wigan Warriors Charity of the Year for the 2025 season. This news was unveiled at our Gala Ball on Saturday 23 November by Hospice CEO, Jo Carby.
We welcomed around 300 guests at The Edge in Wigan on Saturday 23 November and raised over £42,000 for the hospice.

Often people aren’t aware that our hospice services extend beyond the grounds of the hospice building, into our community. In fact, we support more people in our community than on our Inpatient Unit.

In April 2025, fantastic Wigan & Leigh Hospice fundraiser Kim is taking on the Manchester Marathon in memory of dear family friend Geoff, who was cared for by the Hospice earlier this year.
