Play our lottery – you could win up to £1,000
Apart from helping us to raise more funds, a lottery entry gives you the chance of winning one of 30 guaranteed weekly prizes.
Wigan and Leigh Hospice provides expert care for more than 1,200 local people with a life-limiting illness every year. Our care is provided free of charge to patients as well as their families and carers. We rely a great deal on local support and around two-thirds of our income comes from the community.
Our £3,000 summer draw
Our Summer Drawn for 2016 was held on Friday, August 19th. The winning ticket number was 138756. Congratulations to the winner!
How Playing Our Lottery Helps
The Hospice has to raise around £8,700 every day in order to provide our range of services. Playing the lottery is a fantastic way of helping the Hospice by giving us a regular income we can depend on.
Our lottery pays for almost 700 individual days of patient care on our inpatient ward and by joining you can enable us to do even more.
There are 30 prizes to be won every week.
There is a guaranteed top weekly prize of £1,000 with additional prizes of £250, £100, £75, £50 as well as five prizes of £25 and 20 prizes of £10.
How it works
- Our lottery costs just £1 per week or double your chances with two numbers
- You'll be given a unique number which is yours to keep
- Every Friday 30 winning numbers will be drawn by a computer
- If your number is drawn you could win up to £1,000
- There's no need to claim as we'll send you a cheque in the post
- You can play by cheque or by filling in the Standing Order form opposite. Paying by Standing Order helps us by reducing our costs.
Winning numbers are published weekly on the Hospice website and in local newspapers.
We are fortunate to enjoy tremendous support from our local businesses. If your business would like to support the Hospice by promoting our lottery at your workplace please contact Annette Unsworth on 01942 525566 or email: email@example.com
