The Leigh Pub Walk

The Wigan Pub Walk is firm favourite in our calendar, so we wanted to do one in Leigh too!

A fabulous fundraising 5Km walk through Leigh from the Sports Village to The Canal Turn!

Venues have confirmed their support, and many will be putting on special offers for all our walkers showing their event wristbands.

The Route

The route will be fully sign posted. It may change closer to the time, so please follow the signs and make sure your phone is charged and has data for maps

Registration begins at the Holiday Inn Express at 12pm on Saturday 18th October.

The first 50 walkers will then set off at 12:15pm. The next wave will then leave at 12:30pm and then at 15 minute intervals.

This will help to stagger the walkers and ensure the pubs can cope!

If you would like to registering a group, please contact the fundraising team. We can send you a form to complete for group bookings.

• Participants under 18 are free to take part, but must have consent of parent or guardian.
• Any participants under 18 are the responsibility of their parent or guardian.
• T-shirts can be purchased in advance from the hospice or on the day at £5.00 each
• Registration is just £20.00 per person
• Registration includes a wristband
• Registration on the day is £25.00

Fundraising

• We ask that everyone taking part raises whatever they can in sponsorship.
• Teams are welcome to take part – sponsorship can be collected as a group
• Hard copy sponsor forms and collection boxes can be provided
• We ask that you create a fundraising page on JustGiving.com
