Nigel started dancing at age 10 and was inspired to dance in competitions less than a year later, which saw him launch a lifelong career in Ballroom & Latin American dancing. On top of dancing in many major competitions, he was also asked to represent England in the original TV series ‘Come Dancing’, all before setting up his own dance school at just 21 years of age.
In addition to running his dance school, Nigel has spent most of his adult life organising many competitions and major dancing events throughout the UK and Europe, and adjudicating all over the world. Nigel has served as Chairman of the Dance Promoters Association for more than 14 years and more recently has taken the role of Honorary President within the association and is also an Honorary Member of the British Dance Council.
Although semi-retired, Nigel is still very present within the dancing world and he continues to promote events, adjudicate and support others in their dancing careers.
