Feel Good February: the 28 day challenge

  • February 1 @ 12:00 am - February 28 @ 11:59 pm

Give up a bad habit or begin a good one for 28 days and support your local hospice

This February we are asking supporters to feel good, do good and raise funds to ensure local people have access to our specialist hospice care.

We are asking you to do something which makes you feel good for 28 days – such as running or cycling – or give something up – such as smoking or chocolate – throughout the month of February and do good by raising much-needed funds along the way!

Feel good, do good!

Why not set yourself a challenge which will be good for the hospice, but will leave you feeling good too?

All you have to do is:

  1. Sign up online using the form below
  2. Put aside £1 per day every time you complete your daily challenge OR tell your friends and family what you are doing and ask for sponsorship
  3. Complete your challenge

Sign up is free and when you do sign up to Feel Good February our fundraising team will be right behind you the whole way. You’ll receive weekly emails to encourage you, a social media banner for you to share, sponsorship forms and a certificate at the end of your challenge to say well done and thank you!

All we ask is that you raise the equivalent of £1 per day by the end of February.

Ideas

You can interpret the challenge in any way you want but below are some ideas:

  • Walk the dog for 28 minutes every day
  • Give up smoking
  • Start a new daily exercise regime
  • Give up alcohol
  • Give up sugar
  • Dance every day
  • Practice yoga or meditation every day
  • Give up social media for 28 days
  • Run every day for 28 days
  • Cycle 28 miles every day
  • Give up takeaways for 28 days
  • Walk for 28 minutes every day
  • Grow a moustache or beard for 28 days then get sponsored to shave it off
  • Walk 28 miles around your garden
  • Develop a new hobby such as knitting and sell the end product
  • Cook a healthy meal every day for 28 days

If you can’t do something every day why not do 28 of something else such as hold a virtual quiz with 28 questions.

Children could bake 28 cakes, skip 28 times a day, sing every day – just use your imagination!
