Join hundreds of other riders on a fantastic day out!

For over 20 years, thousands of riders have raised vital funds by riding the 62 mile route from the city to the seaside.

We really look after our riders – you’ll get:

  • A Wigan and Leigh Hospice branded T-Shirt to wear on the day
  • Free refreshments (including pies, pasties, sandwiches, chocolates and drinks) at two rest stops en-route and at the end of your journey
  • Coach travel for you from Wigan to Manchester and back from Blackpool at the end of the day.
  • Transportation for your bike from Wigan to Manchester and back from Blackpool at the end of the ride

We also have maintenance vehicles out along the route, so in the event of any breakdowns or problems, help is always at hand.

At the finish line, a welcome party will await you with a well-deserved medal!

Entry Fee

The entry fee is £25, which includes all of the above. We keep our entry fee as low as possible but do ask that every rider raise sponsorship money.

We need to cover our costs but of course we also need to raise money! Therefore, we ask that all of our riders raise at least £100 in sponsorship.

This will mean that YOU will help us to continue providing specialist care and support to patients living with a progressive, incurable illness in our borough.

Please note

Please note:

The event is not a race and all riders must obey the Highway Code.

Cycling can be a dangerous activity and the organisers cannot be held responsible for personal injury, accident, loss, damage or public liability.
