Asda donation for the Hospice

24 June 2015

A DONATION of £1,200 has been handed to Wigan and Leigh Hospice by Asda in Golborne.

The funds were donated by shoppers at the supermarket which will now work closely with Asda in Leigh for the rest of the year to raise additional funds for the Hospice.

Michelle Boyle, Community Champion at Asda Golborne, said: "The Hospice is a charity really close to my heart because my mum Jo Freeman passed away there so I want to raise as much as we can.
"I'd like to thank our customers for their generosity and hope that by working with Asda Leigh we can achieve even more."
