The Pier Town Chorus organised an event at The Swinley Club
where the Barbershop style group performed alongside The Riverside
Harmony Chorus, a ladies' chorus based in Ashton.
Ged Hill, Booking Secretary for the Pier Town Chorus, said: "With
our Musical Director Andy Skett we put together an entertaining
programme for the evening and we were delighted that The Riverside
Harmony Chorus could join us.
"Lots of people commented on how much they enjoyed the evening and
we are thrilled that we've been able to raise £500 for the
Hospice."
A raffle held on the night, funds raised from the entrance fee and
a donation from Pier Town Chorus contributed to the final
total.
The Pier Town Chorus has 14 members who meet once a week on
Wednesdays at The Swinley Club to practise.
