Those with a head for heights are invited to join 39 others for the Hospice's annual Sky Dive at the Black Knights Parachute Centre near Lancaster on Sunday, June 7th.

Last year 39 local people took part jumping out of a plane at heights between 11,000ft and 15,000ft off the ground. In all they raised sponsorship worth a grand total of £11,310 for the Hospice.

Christine Edwardson, Hospice Community Fundraiser, said: "I did the Sky Dive myself last year and it is the experience of a lifetime. I can honestly recommend to anyone thinking of doing it to stop thinking and sign up now - you won't regret it!"

A number of people have requested application forms and 21 adventurers have already return their deposits meaning just 19 places are left.

Participants can sign up by emailing c.edwardson@wlh.org.uk or by calling Fundraising on 01942 525566.

A minimum sponsorship of £400 must be raised by everyone who takes part.
