Tyldesley shop invites customers to 'Buy Me Now'

16 March 2015

VOLUNTEERS are marking the first anniversary of Wigan and Leigh Hospice’s Tyldesley shop by holding a ‘Buy Me Now’ event.

On Tuesday, March 24th, customers will be able to buy the clothes modelled by volunteers throughout the day.

Volunteers at the Elliot Street shop have spent weeks creating outfits from donated items of high quality clothing. Each volunteer will have a Buy Me Now price ticket allowing customers to buy all or part of their outfit. Once an item has been bought the volunteers will quickly change into their next outfit.

Retail Manager, Kate Gaynor, said: "We are lucky to get some high quality pieces of clothing donated to the Hospice and this is a great way to show them off.
"It has been a really successful year for the Tyldesley shop and I'd like to thank he community on behalf of the volunteers and the Hospice for their support."

Customers can also buy homemade cakes, learn about flower arranging and take part in a grand raffle with over 70 prizes to be won.

Buy Me Now will run during normal shop opening hours from 9.30am until 3.30pm.

Wigan and Leigh Hospice needs to raise £7,400 every day and the 13 shops around the borough play a significant role in helping the Hospice reach its fundraising target.
