Our Pub Walk on Saturday 17th May was a huge success and raised over £22,000 for the hospice.
Since 2023, this annual event has raised over £50,000 and we cannot thank everybody involved enough for their support.
One of our pub walkers said,
“The day was well organised! Loki, myself and Jay had the best walk ever! We raised £495! Well done all.”
Another said,
“What a fantastic day. Great weather, great people, great support from the venues along the way but above all an absolutely great cause – wonderful people providing wonderful support. We were proud to be a part of it.”
Over 340 walkers were blessed with the sunshine as they ventured to Hindley, Aspull, Lower Standish and Wigan.
Chris, our Events Fundraiser said,
“I’m so grateful to everyone who joined in this year’s Wigan Pub Walk. Everyone involved, both venues and supporters alike have helped to raise over £22,000 which is incredible. We can’t wait for next year!”

Due to the success of this years event, we are delighted to announce that the Pub Walk is returning in 2026! The 8-mile route will be sponsored by local pubs with many already confirming their support.
