About the role
We are looking for another Volunteer Kitchen Assistant, to support the Hospice Catering Team.
The role is varied and can involve daily tasks such as assisting in the general cleaning and tidying of the kitchen, washing of crockery using the commercial dishwasher, cleaning of machines, catering equipment, furniture, fittings and food trolleys after each meal.
We are looking for someone that can cover the shift 8.00am until 1.00pm Monday – Friday on a flexible ad-hoc basis based on your availability, to cover gaps in the volunteer rota.
We require approachable and friendly individuals who ensure confidentiality and respect, whilst being an excellent communicator. Successful applicants will be subject to a DBS check and also be required to complete mandatory training.
