Volunteer Receptionists

We are looking for a number of Volunteer Receptionists to support our reception team and the wider hospice.

About the role

The role of a volunteer receptionist requires an approachable, friendly individual who ensures confidentiality, respect and dignity whilst being an excellent communicator.

The main responsibilities include greeting and directing patients visitors, managing the telephone system, operating the till to take payments for items purchased in the hospice shop / café. For further information please see the job description link below.

We are looking for volunteers that would be able to cover various weekend shifts. The shift times are –

Weekend shifts
Morning – 8.30am-1pm
Afternoon – 12.45pm-5pm
Evening – 4.45pm-8pm

Please indicate on your application form which of these shifts you are available for. We would ask for a minimum of 1 shift per month.
