Christine Edwardson, Community Fundraiser
Christine has worked at the Hospice since 2013 after spending four years as a volunteer fundraiser. She loves working with the local community and taking part in Hospice fundraising events - so much so she took part in our annual Sky Dive jumping 15,000ft out of a plane in 2014 to raise funds.
Her day-to-day role involves visiting local schools, liaising with Community Support Groups and arranging events including the annual Sky Dive. Christine works with the rest of the fundraising team to arrange and run other key Hospice fundraising events throughout the year and is currently working on the Hospice's Counting on Care appeal.
Katie Stevenson, Community Fundraiser
Katie joined the fundraising team in 2015 after three years running the Winstanley community support group, set up in memory of her Mum, and organising many successful charity events and championing community involvement.
Katie has a real passion for community fundraising and loves raising awareness for the Hospice.
Her role involves liaising with fundraisers in the community and arranging key Hospice fundraising events.
Annette Unsworth, Lottery Development Officer
Annette began working as Lottery Development Officer and Fundraiser in May 2014 following a number of years working for local lotteries.
She first came into contact with the Hospice through her daughter Zoe who performed at several Hospice fundraising events. When Annette finished work she began volunteering with the fundraising team.
Her role consists of developing the lottery and working with the fundraising team.
Annette says the best part of her role is meeting new people when she is out in the community.
Pat Holland, Fundraising Administration Support
Pat joined the Hospice as Fundraising Administration Officer in December 2014. Her role involves receipting donations, banking and general administration duties and providing support to the fundraising team.
She has worked in finance throughout her career, both in the banking sector and within private companies.
