Are you called Ellsey? Would you like to be part of Wigan History?
Family firm Ellsey's are celebrating 80 successful years of business by initiating a search for 80 people with the name Ellsey (or Elsie) to attend a special VIP anniversary TEA PARTY at this years Wigan & Leigh Hospice Garden Party on Saturday 11th August.
Producing the most comprehensive range of vinegars in the UK.
Managing Director Shaun Roberts says, "We want it to be special and remembered for years to come. We are inviting anyone who share's our name Ellsey (or Elsie) to join us and be treated like a VIP on our very special day; male or female. However your name is spelt, we would like you to join us on our special celebration."
He added, "Every Ellsey (Elsie) will be treated like a VIP for the day and will also receive a celebratory scroll to keep."
The occasion will also be detailed in Ellsey's 80th Anniversary book which will be published later in the year. A copy will kept in the Wigan Leisure and Culture Trust archives.
Mr Roberts concluded, "We are very proud of our Wigan roots and delighted to link up with Wigan & Leigh Hospice for this very special occasion. It will be one to remember."
