Feedback and Complaints

hospice front

The hospice values of Compassion, Accessibility, Respect and Excellence are integral to all we do. We have an open and transparent culture that encourages our service users to let us know their views on the services we provide.

If you have any concerns about a hospice service, wish to make a complaint or provide us with any feedback, please speak with a member of staff who will be happy to help.

In instances where a concern is raised about hospice services, we are committed to investigating it thoroughly with compassion, sensitivity and respect.

If you don’t want to speak with a member of staff, you can provide feedback or make a complaint in other ways including:

  • By telephone to the Office Manager or Executive Assistant on 01942 525566
  • By email to info@wlh.org.uk
  • By post, addressing your letter to the Clinical Director or Chief Executive at Wigan and Leigh Hospice, Kildare Street, Hindley, Wigan, WN2 3HZ.

If the Chief Executive has been dealing with your complaint and you feel it still remains unresolved, you may write to the Chair of the Board of Trustees. Please address your letter to the Chair of the Board of Trustees and send to the hospice address above.
